This is a antique collar or neck piece that is hand made of Irish crochet lace.  The lace is in an off-white colour.  The neck area is lined in gossamer silk and closes around the neck and below with five mother-of-pearl buttons.  The neck measures 13 1/2” to 14 1/2 around, the piece has a height of 6 1/2” at its centre point and the piece measures 21” across at its widest point.  It is in very good condition with no signs of wear.  This is a beautiful piece that could be incorporated into a dress - I’ve included some close-ups, so please have a look at the enlarged photos…
